The NewGen was designed for the British Fashion Council's NewGen Award. Previous recipients of this award include Alexander McQueen, Mary Katrantzou, Simone Rocha etc
The shoe is a collaboative project between De Montford Univesity (where Liam studied footwear). The shoe is made up of over 100 crystal LED lights and a micro chip that programs the sequence of lights.
